CANCELLATION POLICY

Retreats and Events:

• 60+ Days Before Event: Full refund
• 30-60 Days Before Event: Refund minus any credit card charges and a 50% non-refundable deposit
• Within 30 Days of Event: Non-refundable
• Transfers: Bookings can be transferred to another person with prior approval.

The owner reserves the right to make alterations or cancellations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances and cannot be held responsible for any loss or damages or inconvenience caused to a guest as a result of an alteration or cancellation to a booking.

Weddings and Elopements:

Due to the bespoke nature of our services, all payments are non-refundable. Date changes may be considered subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

FORCE MAJEURE

Lionsgate Events Pty Ltd is not liable for cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics). In such cases, bookings will be rescheduled or credited for future events.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA CONSENT

By attending our events, you consent to photography and videography being taken on-site. These images and videos may be used for marketing purposes, including social media, website content, and promotional materials.

If you do not wish to appear in any media, please inform us in writing prior to the event or notify the photographer on the day.

PRIVACY POLICY

Lionsgate Events Pty Ltd collects personal information for booking purposes and to enhance your event experience. This may include your name, contact details, and dietary preferences.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and will not share your personal information with third parties, except where necessary to fulfill event requirements (e.g., dietary needs with catering staff).

By providing your contact information, you consent to receiving event updates and promotional content. You may opt out at any time by contacting us directly.

LIABILITY, WAIVER & RELEASE

Lionsgate Events Pty Ltd takes all necessary precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of our guests. However, by booking or attending our events, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk: You voluntarily participate in all activities offered during the event, including but not limited to yoga, breathwork, meditation, and other physical or emotional experiences, fully aware of the inherent risks. You understand that these activities may involve physical exertion, emotional release, or other unforeseen incidents. You accept all risks, including injury, illness, or emotional distress.
2. Medical Responsibility: You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to assess your physical and mental fitness for participation. You confirm that you are in good health and have no medical conditions that would prevent you from safely participating in the event's activities. You agree to seek medical advice if uncertain about your ability to participate safely.
3. Release of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lionsgate Events Pty Ltd, its owners, employees, contractors, and agents shall not be held liable for any personal injury, illness, emotional distress, loss, or damage to personal property incurred during the event.
4. Indemnity Clause: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lionsgate Events Pty Ltd, its owners, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from your participation in the event, including legal fees.
5. Property Use: Lionsgate Events Pty Ltd and the owners of Heartwood Farm Byron Bay accept no responsibility for guests' personal property while on the premises. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of (or inability to use) the property, this website, or its contents.
6. Consent to Participate: By attending the event, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this waiver and release of liability. You participate voluntarily and at your own risk.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: This agreement is governed by the laws of New South Wales, and any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of its courts.
